Sinclair of Leith Bagpipes
African Blackwood with full ivory ancillaries and nickel slides.
Pipes in great condition overall, tonally produce a big rich sound, more like a henderson than a sinclair typical tone.
The nickel slides would appear to be retrofit, albeit of high quality they are very long and doubtful to have come out of the workshop although i may be incorrect with this assumption (see photographs).
Bores all straight and parallel and pipes tune with ease.
Anomalies:
Blowpipe stock split (I dont see this as an issue as vast majority of players now use plastic split stocks or similar).
One of the tenor ring caps is a 2 piece construction, not noticeable and has not effect on performance however a point of note.
