Exquisite set of Henry Starck bagpipes dating to 1940 era, likely made and sold under the WH Paling banner.
Beautifully crafted and tonally excellent.
The middle tenor pin has a very unusual notch as pictured. I cannot fathom a reason for this but its precision and accuracy was most certainly conducted by an expert with purpose, I personally find this to add character to the pipe and a unique attribute.
